Arrest Report- March 3, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 41 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Devin James Mayon, 32, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 2, 2026, at 1:37 pm for failure to register as a sex offender. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Alan Granger, 30, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 2, 2026, at 4:55 pm on a warrant for the following charges:

• Aggravated flight from an officer
• Possession of stolen things
• Resisting an officer by giving false information
• Aggravated obstruction of highway
• Intentional littering prohibited

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Gaylen Hamilton, 42, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 2, 2026, at 4:26 pm on a warrant for the following charges:

• Possession of cocaine
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Driving on roadway laned for traffic
• Turning movements and required signals

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

James McClain, 43, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 2, 2026, at 4:26 pm on a Franklin Police Department warrant for second-degree aggravated battery. McClain is being held for another agency.
