Arrest Report- March 6, 2026
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Michael Roy Steadman Jr., 41, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 5, 2026, at 2:59 pm on a warrant for indecent behavior with juveniles. Bail has not been set at this time.
Divone Jared Davis, 35, Paincourtville, LA, was arrested on March 5, 2026, at 12:39 pm for possession of stolen things and on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Possession of schedule II CDS (meth) with intent to distribute
- Obstruction of justice-tampering
- Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
- Improper turn and/or failure to give required signal
- Speeding
- Failure to honor written promise to appear
Bail has not been set at this time.
Cameron Treshawn Hawkins, 21, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on March 5, 2026, at 12:35 pm on two warrants for the following charges:
- Unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling
- Contributing to the delinquency of juveniles
- Simple robbery
- Second-degree battery
Bail has not been set at this time.
Elaina Nicole Ashmore, 25, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 5, 2026, at 2:45 pm on a warrant for theft. Ashmore was released on a $5,000 bond.
Phillip Kenneth Lodrigue Jr., 46, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 5, 2026, at 9:11 pm on the following charges:
- Burglary- attempted
- Criminal damage to property-simple
- Battery-simple
- Resisting an officer by giving false information
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of methamphetamines
- Possession of schedule I drugs
- Possession of schedule IV drugs
