St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 96-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 181 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Carl Joseph Singleton Jr., 25, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 10, 2026, at 12:48 pm on the following charges:
- Driving under suspension
- No proof of insurance
- Violation of protective order
- No registration in vehicle
Bail has not been set at this time.
Julius C. Johnson, 41, Chicago, IL, was arrested on May 9, 2026, at 8:24 pm for forgery, bank fraud, and monetary instrument abuse. Bail has been set at $7,500.
Jamie Lynn Lantier, 30, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on May 10, 2026, at 11:54 am on a warrant for the charge of simple criminal damage to property. Bail has not been set at this time.
Joey Viltz, 61, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 8, 2026, at 12:01 pm for assault on medical personnel. Bail was set at $7,500.
Karla Liseth George-Colbina, 27, Patterson, LA, was arrested on May 9, 2026, at 12:20 am for possession of cocaine. Bail has not been set at this time.
Myles Deshon Roberson, 27, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 9, 2026, at 12:23 am for disturbing the peace by language, resisting arrest or officer, and threatening a public official. Bail was set at $10,500.
Brian Barrilleaux, 59, Bayou L'ourse, LA, was arrested on May 8, 2026, at 9:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids. Bail was set at $1,350.
Joseph Wayne Soileau, 50, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on May 11, 2026, at 12:59 am for assault-simple and disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Soileau was released on a $3,000 bond.
Christine Marie Stoute, 51, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on May 10, 2026, at 7:27 pm for theft, possession of schedule II drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,000.
