Arrest Report- May 22, 2026

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24- hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 54 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Samantha Renee Jones, 42, Gonzales, LA, was arrested on May 22, 2026, at 7:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Speeding
• Failure to use seatbelts
• Operating a vehicle without a driver's license
• Fail to honor a written promise to appear

Jones was released on a $500 bond.

 

Apollonia Marie Louis, 41, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on May 22, 2026, at 7:13 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Speeding
• Driving under suspension
• Operating an unregistered vehicle and/or vehicle without proper plates
• Failure to secure vehicle registration

Bail was set at $500.

 

Jessica Alice Morris, 26, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on May 21, 2026, at 7:46 pm on a Berwick Police Department warrant for entry-remaining where forbidden. Morris is being held for another agency.

 

Robert Felix Stevens, 55, Monroe, LA, was arrested on May 21, 2026, at 2:49 pm for failure to register as a sex offender. Bail was set at $100,000.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Elton Pinn, 42, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 21, 2026, at 8:43 am on the following charges: 

• Possession of schedule I (heroin) with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute
• Possession of legend drug without prescription
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Transactions involving drug proceeds
• Franklin City Court Bench Warrant for speeding

Bail was set at $412,500.
