St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Joey Viltz, 61, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on May 5, 2026, at 6:55 pm disturbing the peace by language. Bail was set at $250.
