Arrest Report- November 6, 2025

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 47 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Louis David Topham III, 50, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on November 5, 2025, at 1:16 pm for possession of schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.

Michael Wayne Sweetser, 43, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on November 5, 2025, at 1:16 pm for possession stolen things. Bail has not been set at this time.

Wilbur James Richard Jr., 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 5, 2025, at 3:12 pm on the following charges: 

• Possession stolen things
• Illegal possession of stolen firearms
• Possession of firearm-felon
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of marijuana

Bail has not been set at this time.
