Arrest Report- October 27, 2025
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 120-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 228 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Jaquandre Shemar Williams, 23, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2025, at 11:25 am for indecent behavior with a juvenile, carnal knowledge of a juvenile, and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
On August 21, 2025, a detective was advised to proceed to the Morgan City Police Department in reference to a complaint of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Upon arrival, the detective spoke with an MCPD detective who was working on a case involving Williams, in which an additional incident occurred in the Bayou Vista area.
The detective opened an investigation into that incident and through the investigation obtained evidence that led to a warrant for Williams. Williams was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on October 24, 2025, for booking. Bail was set at $75,000.
Leonard Joseph Romero III, 46, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2025, at 9:26 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for reckless operation-no accident and resisting arrest or officer. Bail has not been set at this time.
Cameron Orrin Mitchell, 25, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 22, 2025, at 5:27 pm on the following charges:
- Disturbing the peace by language
- Battery-simple
- Criminal damage to property-simple
- Home invasion
Bail was set at $50,000.
Jewel Ann Ross, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm on the following charges:
- Possession of heroin
- Possession of schedule II drugs
- Obstruction of justice-tampering
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Resisting arrest or officer
Bail was set at $39,000.
Michelle Lynn Pellerin, 54, Centerville, LA, was arrested on October 25, 2025, at 9:50 pm for battery-simple. Pellerin was released on a $2,500 bond.
Donald Thomas Dupree, 26, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 26, 2025, at 10:19 am on a New Iberia Police Department warrant. Dupree is being held for another agency.
Aris Michael Granger, 38, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 26, 2025, at 7:46 pm on three warrants for failure to appear for non-support. Bail was set at $99,850.37.
Avontre Drevonn Perro, 26, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 26, 2025, at 11:46 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for improper lane usage and operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Bail was set at $1,000.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Tamika Fleming, 42, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on October 22, 2025, at 6:52 pm for driving under suspension, possession of Sch. II (oxycodone) with intent to distribute, and improper equipment. Bail was set at $36,250.
Justin Scarbrough, 33, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on October 26, 2025, at 1:21 pm for aggravated second degree battery. Bail was set at $15,000.
