Arrest Report- September 4, 2025

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 67 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Porfirio Ordonez Perez, 45, Amelia, LA, was arrested on September 3, 2025, at 11:50 am on two warrants for failure to appear for the following charges: 

• Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
• Speeding
• Unlawful possession of fraudulent documents for identification purposes
• Failure to obey traffic control devices
• Operating a vehicle with an expired license plate
• Operating a vehicle without proof of insurance

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Rosendo Ponce Mata, 52, Amelia, LA, was arrested on September 3, 2025, at 3:51 pm for violation of protective orders (3 counts). Bail was set at $30,000.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

De'Andre Youman, 26, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on September 3, 2025, at 10:52 pm on a the following charges:

• Failure to signal 100 feet prior to an intersection
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Driving under suspension
• Possession of a machine gun

Bail was set at $103,000.

 

Jaylon Williams, 24, Houma, LA, was arrested on September 3, 2025, at 7:57 pm on a warrant for possession of marijuana and improper lane usage. Williams was released on a $1,000 bond.
