Arrest Report- September 5, 2025
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 18 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Peter Charles Leblanc, 35, Crowley, LA, was arrested on September 4, 2025, at 1:37 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Operating a vehicle not covered by security
- Operating a vehicle without a driver's license
- Failure to secure vehicle registration
- Improper use of registration/license plates/license
Bail was set at $750.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Chesley Joseph Louis, Jr., 59, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on September 4, 2025, at 7:35 pm for possession of schedule II CDS with intent to distribute (cocaine), possession of schedule II with intent to distribute (crack cocaine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Eric Louis, 48, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 4, 2025, at 7:35 pm on a warrant for the following charges:
- Turning movements and required signals
- Brake lights required
- Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
- Obstruction of justice-tampering
- Resisting arrest or officer
- Transaction involving proceeds from drug offenses
- Possession of marijuana
On September 4, 2025, detectives with the Narcotics Section of the SMPSO conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Eric Louis, who held an active warrant. During the stop, it was discovered that the passenger, identified as Chesley Louis, had drugs on his person.
Eric and Chesley were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail for Eric was set at $200,000, and bail for Chesley's charges was set at $103,000.
